Least painful wax ever. My appointment was with Jodi, and the combination of high-quality wax and awesome technique ("it's all in the wrist") ended up meaning that I experienced virtually no pain. The Waxing Studio in Austin definitely gets my vote. The staff was warm and inviting, the products smelled divine, the environment was clean. Perfect.

This was my first time at the Waxing Studio, having been given a gift certificate there by my friends. I have to say that this was the best facial I have ever received. I had a lot of breakouts when I went, and now I can definitely see a difference. I also have to say that not only was the service great, but service from everyone I interacted with were great as well. It was definitely a great experience from beginning to end. Their prices are also very reasonable, and definitely worth it!

I was a first timer when I came to Jodi. Her studio is clean, comfortable and convienent. I actually look forward to my monthly wax now. Jodi is wonderful and I would not go anywhere else. Finally someone fixed my eyebrows. I recommend Jodi for all my sorority friends.

So my girlfriend finally convinced me to get my back waxed, and I have to admit it was a very painful, but comfortable experience. The pain was harsh, but it was over so quick I didn't have much time to think to think about it. My waxer made me feel very comfortable and I'll definately be back.

I just have to say that I have been to a lot of places for microdermabrasion and I have to say this is the best! I don't know if it is the machine they use or what, but my skin looks and feels better than ever. My whole experience was very plesant all around! I really enjoyed the atmosphere and I love the music!

I recently booked a facial at the Waxing Studio with Jodi and the experience was something I had to write about. I have been to dozens of spas in Austin & Dallas and the results were always mediocre. My facial with Jodi was truly the best I have ever had. She is extremely knowledgeable, didn't push products on me at the end of my visit and is extremely relaxing just to be around. From the moment I walked in the staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating and it was exactly what I have been looking for. This place is truly the best in the Austin, take this advice from someone who has been a lot of places. Can't wait for my next appointment!

My experience with the Waxing Studio was a very positive one. The entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions and addressed my concerns very professionally. They were also very helpful in scheduling appointments around my very busy schedule. They are flexible and efficient, and I am very pleased with my results. They have a customer for life!

I had an appointment with the owner of the salon and tried to explain my one past experience with waxing (as the receptionist had suggested that I do). She did not care. She didn't want to hear anything besides the sound of my credit card swipe and me walking out of the door. I asked her to do a test strip and she decided to just go ahead and start waxing my eyebrows anyways. I walked out with red, puffy skin that has still not gone away (it's 26 hours later). Ideally we would have waxed somewhere not on my face and waited a few minutes to see how my skin would react. eyebrows are uneven (something that I couldn't see with their dim lighting) and my boyfriend suggested that I go back and have them fix it.

walk-in services vs. scheduled appointments
I'd like to offer some clarification to your opinion on my concepts of customer service and how I handle walk-in clientele. Clients who book advance appointments receive the most preferential treatment at the Waxing Studio. If we have openings, we graciously accept any and all walk-in customers. You had come in on a day we had absolutely no openings for walk-in services, but the owner of the salon understood your urgency for a 'quick' brow wax, and moved a client around 10 minutes to 'fit' you into her busy schedule that day. Which is probably why you felt a bit rushed. We're sorry for that. On a personal note, if you have had problems with waxing in the past and you know that your skin is extremely sensitive, you really should look to an alternative to hair removal because waxing is probably not for you.

Quick but rushed

This was my first brazilian and I have to admit, Jodi was fast as lightning. No time to think about the intense pain. That was very good. But I still felt rushed. When everything was done, I quickly looked it over and she was practically pushing me out the door. Overall, I'd say the job was pretty good (my boyfriend noticed a few spots she missed) but I really don't like the feeling of being pushed out.

I came in because there was an ad in my local newsletter for a free eyebrow wax I figured since it was close I would check it out. My eyebrows looked great! My waxer was warm and professional she did one of the best jobs I have ever had. I have definately found my new place to get waxed!

This place is the best. The decor is incredible and the service is even better. My waxer got right down to business. She proceeded to do my entire brazilian in 5 minutes! I'm normally a baby, but I didn't have any chance to react because by the time the pain registered, IT WAS ALREADY done! I was VERY impressed. Bikini waxes hurt, they always will, but wouldn't you rather it be intense and short than medium and take longer
I'm sure that I'll be back.

I got my first full Brazilian wax here today, and it wasn't nearly as terrifying as folks make it out to be. The procedure didn't last for more than ten minutes, and although not entirely painless, it was done as professionally as it could have been. Everything seemed clean and sanitary, and my aesthetician was very sweet and happy to answer questions. A note for the shy: It is my understanding that some places allow you private time to remove clothing, or provide coverings for the client, but here you don't really get much room to be modest. Although there are private waxing rooms, I was simply just told to strip from the waist down and hop on the table while the aesthetician was setting everything up. This probably would have been irritating if the service hadn't been so professional.

I've had brazilian waxes done by MANY people over the years, and they are either fast but sloppy OR thorough and slow. This place is the whole package: quick, painless, and definitely thorough. She also made me feel very comfortable with an obviously not your everyday situation. I recommend her to everyone! You will not be dissappointed.

I have been waxing for years and never have I had such a pleasant waxing experience as I did at the Waxing Studio. Calming atmosphere and fast! Waxing has always been a dreaded chore for me, but now I look forward to keeping it up on a routine basis! Worth the drive from Leander! I had a "playboy" in 1/2 the time I have had a traditional bikini in the past. Products used minimize redness and reduces recovery time.

The Waxing Studio is by far the best place in Austin for a Brazilian wax because they are so fast. Where else can you get a full leg, eye brow and brazilian wax done in about 45 minute.
